Rosie Bossom

Rosie Bossom

Meet Rosie Bossom – The incredibly talented interior designer whose trademark style can be seen at 5 Hertford Street, among others. As well as Kiki, Rosie has a love for striking colour and timeless design. We sat with the designer at The Fitzdares Club to talk about her inspirational career to date, and of course, her love of jewellery.

Having graduated from KLC in 2009, Rosie worked at Thorp Design, a high-end Interior Design Firm based in Knightsbridge. During her time there Rosie worked on various residential projects ranging from apartments in London to large country estates, working closely with the in-house architects. Rosie then began working at Lambart and Browne, an Interior Design firm specialising in luxurious design for commercial and private clients. Here, she was given the fantastic opportunity to work with couture designer Rifat Ozbek on Loulous, 5 Hertford Street. Rosanna Bossom Ltd is responsible for the design and installation of the top two floors of 5 Hertford St, again working alongside Rifat Ozbek.

Established in 2014, Rosanna Bossom Limited is currently a dynamic team of three and has extended into offering beautiful homeware as well as continuing bespoke design projects.

What is your greatest achievement?

Starting my own business, and growing my dream team!

What 3 words would you use to describe yourself?

Driven, creative & funny (can I say that?!)

Favourite piece of Kiki jewellery?

I love the Lola stacking rings, the mix of gold and diamonds is perfect.

What makes you feel powerful:

When I strike a healthy balance of work and play. I try and fit an hour walk in every morningbefore getting to the office so I start with a fresh head. I also now leave my laptop at the office so I properly switch off in the evenings!

Go to fashion statement:

High waisted jeans (and a mask!)

What inspired you to start your own business?

I was very lucky in the fact it was right place, right time and was approached for a very exciting project, but I guess it gave me the freedom and creativity I had always wanted.

What has been your favourite project to work on so far?

5 Hertford Street, working alongside the very talented Rifat Ozbek.

What is your interior design “signature”?

Making patterns, colours and textures sing each other’s praises when no one else would put them together. I love to layer interiors to look as if they have grown together overtime.
