We advise cleaning your jewellery often, with nothing more than a very soft brush such as a toothbrush, a drop of mild dish soap and warm water (except for pearls, emeralds and opals). Our stones are sometimes enhanced, which means treated in some way to improve their colour or clarity. This often involves a heat or delicate chemical process. Examples of stones with some enhancements are citrine and blue topaz.
